1.0.0-alpha.7 — 13 October 2026
- Adds the new animated Broker pack, with smoother transitions and audio-driven mouth shapes.
- Moves the capture-consent timing wait before the capture cycle to tolerate ordinary PC clock drift. Time-zone comparisons use UTC.
- Improves fullscreen overlays for DirectX 9 (32-bit and 64-bit) and DirectX 11 (64-bit), including supported exclusive-fullscreen games.
- Preserves the accepted NEXT GEN character performance, multilingual speech, volume control and desktop overlay layout controls.
Native fullscreen coverage does not include DirectX 12, Vulkan, OpenGL, HDR or protected games. Network interruptions can still interrupt speech.
1.0.0-alpha.6 — 13 October 2026
- Bundles the Microsoft C++ runtime required by NEXT GEN, fixing the missing native dependency found in an affected Windows PC's startup logs.
- Adds a Broker volume slider in Settings.
- Move and resize Broker directly on the desktop, including placement below the taskbar. Mirror his view and place dialogue left, above or right.
- Fixes the Account panel shifting right and clipping.
- Keeps the accepted NEXT GEN voice, multilingual speech, English defaults and current animation pack.
1.0.0-alpha.5 — 13 October 2026
- Capture permission is an explicit checkbox before START BROKER.
- Retry finishes closing a retained startup attempt before opening another session.
- Startup messages distinguish unavailable audio, local storage and engine prerequisites. Help diagnostics include the failed startup step.
- The portable download bundles the runtime into SignalBroker.Runtime.dll, with no thousands of loose runtime files in the download folder.
- The accepted NEXT GEN character performance, multilingual speech and English defaults are preserved.
